Our Office Staff
Karen Duncan, Practice Manager
Karen brings 25 years’ experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician to our clinic, and in addition to her previous technical experience, she has trained, managed, and taught at an AVMA Accredited Veterinary Technology program. Karen comes to us after a long career with a large and progressive veterinary specialty hospital in Pittsburgh, where she worked in various departments, including dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, surgery, MRI/CT, emergency, and dentistry. After she earned her MBA, she transitioned into training where she was responsible for the training needs of over 160 technicians and assistants.
When Karen isn’t at the clinic, you can find her spending time with her husband and their dogs, Brutus and Emily, and their cat, Bug. She enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and hunting, and reading.
